What are Auckland uPVC doors?
uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) doors are durable, energy-efficient and low maintenance. Whether you need front doors, patio doors, or interior doors, uPVC provides a robust and low-maintenance solution.
Why choose a uPVC door?
Durable
UPVC doors are resistant to weathering, immune to rot and corrosion. They do not warp, swell or crack over time.
Energy Efficient
UPVC doors have superior thermal insulation properties, they help keep the home warm during winter and cool in summer by reducing heat loss. They are a cost effective choice for energy-conscious homeowners
Low Maintenance
UPVC doors do not require regular painting, varnishing, or sealing.
Cost Effective
Compared to aluminium or wood, uPVC is affordable while providing excellent insulation
Security
Fitted with multi-point locking system, they are secure against break-ins

Door Opening Types
French

- The door opens by swinging both panels outward from the centre
Tilt and Slide

- The door tilts inward at the top for ventilation. The entire sash opens for the door to slide horizontally open.
Lift and Slide

- The door lifts off its track, once lifted the door can be effortlessly slid along its track.
- Minimising the wear and tear on weatherproofing when comparing conventional designs.
Entrance Doors

- The door opens by swinging inward or outward on hinges located on one side of the door frame.
We offer a range of door opening types including low sill, which have a reduced step height. Please get in contact to learn more about what we can do at Koffman.
Enjoy a quieter home
The multi-chambered design and tight seals provide excellent soundproofing, reducing noise pollution
How is my home more secure?
The glass in our windows is fitted from inside the house, which means unlike other frames, the glass isn’t susceptible to burglars pulling the rubber seal and removing the glass from the outside and gaining entry without making noise.
Multipoint locking system: The turn of a handle locks the sash surrounding the window, unlike single latch windows in NZ. Our windows have min RC2 rating and RC3 are possible with specialised glass option.

Contact us
Q. Are uPVC doors secure?
Yes, they feature multi-point locking systems and strong frames. Our doors have min RC2 rating and RC3 is possible with the specialised glass option.
Q. Can I customise the design?
Yes, uPVC doors come in various styles and colours to suit your taste
Q. Are uPVC doors energy efficient?
Yes, they provide excellent thermal insulation.
Low thermal conductivity: uPVC does not readily conduct heat, this reduces the transfer of heat between the inside and outside of a building.
Air chambers: uPVC profiles used in windows and doors contain multiple internal air chambers, these act as barriers to heat transfer.
Weatherproofing: uPVC is naturally resistant to moisture and does not warp or degrade when exposed to harsh weather conditions. This weatherproofing helps to maintain the integrity of the insulation over time.
Seal tightness: uPVC windows and doors are designed to fit tightly against frames, minimising air leakage and drafts.
Q. How is colour added?
Colour is added by vinyl laminate, it is UV resistant and is bonded to the material to ensure it lasts.
